Organistation
INFRAPOWER’s business concept includes all steps in the value adding process that begins with sourcing raw materials and ends in homes and other applications of infrared panels. Our overall target is to make sure cost-effectiveness in all parts of the mentioned chain, such as optimising the infrastructure involved, the utilisation of our production units and equipment as well as maximising the yield from input resources yet minimising environmental impacts. Our production is concept based and as a rule each unit should focus on one production technique, one type of raw material and one cluster of products or product ranges to optimise efficiency and volumes.
INFRAPOWER’s organisation is designed to make sure the organisation itself and production correspond in most efficieny way. Therefore, it is divided into business sectors with each business sector having operational responsibility for the analogous production concept. Our organisation is very much decentralised and thus we are putting strong emphasis on networking between our units in order to support and manage resources and synergies most efficient. Material administration and technical developments are managed certrally but work largely via local participation.
INFRAPOWER’s support functions are the background organisation, administration and infrastructure that are required to keep us running. Most of our support people operate both centrally and within the line of the business operations. Working like this allows INFRAPOWER to effectively manage strategic, governance and control issues from only one point. It also moves decision making and services closer to the business. The support functions provide an important platform for growing our people and our business.
INFRAPOWER’s business organisation is structured according to the production concepts which mean that it is divided into sectors with each business sector having operational responsibility for the analogous production concept. This structure delivers focus and results as relevant competencies, standardisation etc are maintained within the mentioned sector. The business sector organisation creates an effective line operations and increased management efficiency.
